Technical

Key role

Our Technical Department is responsible for ensuring that maintenance and repairs to your aircraft are carried out in accordance with applicable airworthiness standards and, at the same time, ensures that costs are kept to a minimum without compromising on quality or safety.

In addition, it provides customer quotations for the repair of components, technical advice whenever required and is the point of review and distribution for technical, airworthiness policy documentation.

Our Technical Department is the key contact for the collation, review and distribution of all technical data. It receives and logs the technical library updates and SBs, and regularly reviews regulatory and industry specific data ensuring that the latest versions are always available. It is also able to produce technical and reliability reports as required.

Quotes/Strip Reports

Although the strip and quote process starts in Operations, our Technical Department is responsible for the preparation of our customer's quotations and associated teardown reports.

It has the additional responsibilitty for collating all data and preparing the detailed pre-maintenance workpacks.

Technical Development

Airframe Components Europe's commitment to research and development helps support challenging customer requirements. ACE looks at new product development as a proactive process where resources are allocated to identify market changes and seize upon new product opportunities before they occur.

Many industry leaders see new product development as an ongoing process in which the entire organisation is always looking for opportunities. ACE is no different and it is the Technical team who will make initial assessments as to the viability of product development of a particular component before approval is sought.
