New investment has enabled ACE to purchase and install a new ablative centre. Pictured left, the new centre will allow ACE to compete for work that requires specialist fireproof insulation treatment.

Ablative coating is a thick layer of material which is supplied to a surface to absorb heat and is designed to char and sacrifice itself whilst protecting the underlying structure. Typically, this type of material is applied to the inner structure of nacelles.

ACE welcomes enquiries from any company requiring this type of work, whether it be incorporated into a more substantial repair or as a standalone application.
